KokoBet Casino Review: Is KokoBet Safe and Legal in 2026?

KokoBet is an online casino and sportsbook reached through koko.bet, which forwards visitors to regional mirrors. Its footer names one company incorporated in Costa Rica, and no gambling regulator.

Only two sources count here: a regulator’s own register, or a document published by the operator, each with the date we checked it. We do not repeat licence claims made by other affiliate sites.

Who runs KokoBet

The footer of the mirror kokofast.bet reads, word for word: “kokofast.bet and related rights belong to Peak Vision Group Sociedad De Responsabilidad Limitada incorporated in Costa Rica.” The same sentence appears on kokoko.bet. Checked 5 August 2026, re-checked 6 August 2026.

The only full set of KokoBet terms we could open names a different company. Clause 1.4: “KokoBet wordt geëxploiteerd door 3-102-897762 LTDA, een vennootschap opgericht naar het recht van Costa Rica, Jaco.” That document is dated 1 July 2024 and sits on a mirror domain rather than koko.bet, so we treat it as mirror text the operator has not confirmed on its main domain.

What the operator publishes about a licence

Nothing. A licence here means a permission issued by a named gambling regulator, carried with a number you can look up in that regulator’s public register. On 6 August 2026 we found no regulator name and no licence number on any KokoBet page that loaded for us: not the footer, not the terms document, not the contact page.

Two consequences follow, and both are about you rather than the company. No supervisory body sets rules for how the games, bonuses and payouts have to work. And if a dispute goes badly, there is no regulator to escalate it to.

We are not calling this an unlicensed operation: a permission we cannot see is not the same as one that does not exist, and the legal review of all six markets is open. We record what is published and what is not, on the date we looked.

“No” in the table above means the operator’s pages and terms document name no regulator for that market. We have not yet run a name search in each of the six registers; the result, positive or negative, replaces the table with a dated line.

The domains that are not KokoBet

kokobet.com is not KokoBet. On 6 August 2026 it served a different brand, Cocobet, operated by NewEra Information Technology N.V., Curaçao registration 163214, under Curaçao Gaming Authority licence OGL/2024/135/0139 dated 21 June 2024. kokobet.app is a known phishing clone rather than an operator domain, and what that does to its rating is set out in the player-reports section below.

All of it comes from one document: the Dutch-language general terms on a KokoBet mirror, dated 1 July 2024, captured 5 August 2026. We could not cross-check it against a payment policy on the live site, because the live legal pages return an error instead of text. That matters most for the daily ceiling: a separate payment policy is exactly the kind of document that carries a different number, and we cannot rule that out here.

Verification comes before your first withdrawal: identity documents, copies of the front and back of your payment cards with the middle digits covered, and proof of address. No processing time is attached to any of it.

How long a withdrawal really takes

Two banking days is what the document says. What players write is different, and payouts are the most repeated theme on the brand’s Trustpilot profile. A Dutch reviewer rating 3 out of 5 on 2 May 2026 put the gap plainly: “het uitbetalen duurt inderdaad lang +/- 72 uur” (paying out does indeed take a long time, roughly 72 hours). A one-star reviewer on 28 March 2026 described something longer: “I have been trying to withdraw my money for over a month now, probably 10 to 15 times. Every single time the withdrawal gets cancelled because they claim I filled out incorrect information, even though it is exactly the same information I used to deposit money.”

The rating, and what the rating hides

This is not an average dragged down by a few angry customers: the recent sample and the overall score point the same way, which is the case where a low rating means what it looks like it means.

One caution about star counts on their own. In that same set of twenty, a review of 16 May 2026 praises the support team at length (“I never had to keep reminding them about my ongoing case”) while carrying a one-star score.

Whether the operator answers is a criterion in its own right, not a courtesy. Two other operator profiles in the same snapshot had replies on all twenty of their recent reviews, so replying is clearly possible on this platform.

What the complaints are actually about

Three themes repeat across the recent reviews, each quoted with its date.

Accounts that will not close. 21 July 2026, one star: “Ze willen je account niet sluiten, zo vaak geprobeerd!” (They will not close your account, I have tried so many times.) The same complaint appears in a three-star review of 2 May 2026: “lastig is dat ze je account niet willen sluiten.” A player asking to close an account and being refused is a responsible gambling issue before it is a service issue.

Winnings removed with a bonus explanation when no bonus was used. 15 May 2026, one star, on a bet worth roughly €5,000: “de bonus is verlopen. Dat is echt bizarre onzin want ik heb geen bonus gebruikt + dan hadden ze de bet niet moeten accepteren” (the bonus has expired. That is bizarre nonsense, because I did not use a bonus, and in that case they should not have accepted the bet.)

Marketing to people who never registered. 30 June 2026, one star: “Bedrijf uit Costa rica doet zich voor als officieel Nederlands veel spam nooit gespeeld beetje vreemd” (A company from Costa Rica presenting itself as officially Dutch, lots of spam, never played there, a bit strange.)

The positive side is thin but not empty. A five-star review of 17 May 2026 reports two wins of €750 and withdrawals “normally handled within 2-3 Business days”, with one complaint: a favourite slot became geo-restricted two days after the reviewer took a €3,500 jackpot on it.

Check which domain a profile is about before you read anything into its score. The reviewers on the clone domain describe a copy of the brand used to collect deposits — “This site is a fake created to look like the official casino” — so quoting its rating as KokoBet’s means quoting a site that impersonates KokoBet.

Complaint registries

Independent arbitration data is thinner than the review data. In our 5 August 2026 snapshot, casino.guru held 8 complaints about KokoBet: 1 open, 0 unresolved, 2 resolved and 5 rejected. Eight is a small base, and a rejected complaint is not the same as an unfounded one, so we show the split rather than a headline number.

KokoBet is the subject of a published warning from the KVA, the Dutch Keurmerk Verantwoorde Affiliates, the body that certifies gambling affiliates in the Netherlands. The trade title CasinoNieuws.nl reported it under the headline “KVA waarschuwt voor illegale goksite Kokobet” (KVA warns about illegal gambling site Kokobet).

Per that reporting, the KVA’s checks found that the site accepts Dutch players, allows deposits through Dutch banks, uses Dutch-language texts and Dutch payment options without agreements with the payment providers, in a significant share of cases does not pay out winnings, does not follow the rules on responsible gambling, data protection and bonus policy, and carries out no age or identity checks whatsoever. The last point has a specific consequence: with no identity check, a site is reachable both by minors and by players who have entered themselves into Cruks, the Dutch national self-exclusion register.

To be precise about what the KVA is: not a state regulator — that is the KSA — but a certification body for affiliates, whose code, in the version of 24 March 2026, permits members to link only to KSA licence holders. A KVA warning carries no legal force against an operator. It is, however, a dated finding published by a named organisation, which is more than most claims in this niche offer.

KokoBet advertises a welcome package for the casino and a separate one for the sportsbook, plus daily cashback and rakeback for existing players. The headline figures on the site do not agree with each other: the banners and the sidebar say one size for the casino package, while the page’s own text strings say a larger one.

Wagering — the amount you have to stake before bonus money becomes withdrawable — is set in the terms document we located, with a default bonus validity of 30 days. The document does not say whether the multiplier applies to the bonus alone or to bonus plus deposit, which changes the real cost substantially. No bonus code appears anywhere on the site, and no no-deposit bonus is advertised.

KokoBet runs a casino and a sportsbook from one account. Its own homepage names four software providers: Ezugi and Evolution Gaming for live dealer tables, plus BGaming and Play’n GO. Game links in the mirror footer point to further studios, among them Gamzix, 3 Oaks Gaming, Playson, Groove, Winfinity and Iconic21. The lobby is described as slots, blackjack with variants for casual and high-stake players, and roulette in European, American and French versions alongside live tables. The sportsbook covers football, basketball and esports.

The operator publishes no total game count anywhere we could find, so we are not repeating one. Several affiliate reviews of this brand quote specific totals; none cites the operator. We could not confirm whether the games are tested by an independent laboratory either — no certification mark, lab name or test report appears on the pages we could open.

There is a mobile site. Whether there is a real KokoBet app is a different question, and the search results are worth reading carefully.

In our August 2026 mobile search snapshots for “kokobet app” and “kokobet android app” in the Netherlands, no Google Play or App Store listing appeared in the top ten for either query. What did appear, next to the operator’s own domain, was a row of third-party sites offering downloads, with titles such as “Kokobet casino App download NL | Gratis APK & iOS 2025” and “Download de Kokobet mobiele app voor Android en iOS”.

That pattern matters more than the absence of an app. An APK from a site that is neither the operator nor a store is an installation file from an unverified source, handed to you by a page that earns money if you install it. The mobile browser version is the route that does not require trusting a third-party file.

We have not run our own support test on KokoBet. This section is desk-verified: the channels we could confirm and what players report. A logged test replaces it once we run one.

One address is confirmed in writing: the terms document names support@koko.bet as the route for self-exclusion requests. Whether live chat and telephone support exist, and their hours, could not be confirmed, because the contact page returned no usable content on the days we checked.

Player reports are uneven. A one-star review of 28 March 2026 describes chat that often would not open: “Half of the time I cannot even open a chat, and when I finally do, they do not help at all and just give useless, generic responses.” A one-star review of 16 May 2026 says the opposite, describing a case handled with proactive updates until it was nearly resolved.

Our test will record the date, the channel, the time to a human reply, three specific questions, the answers, and whether the answers match the written terms. That last check is the one that tends to find things.

The useful question is not how to fill in a form. It is what gets asked of you later, and what can go wrong.

Who may register. The terms document bars residents of a list of countries, and that list includes four of our six markets. See the open question in the licence section: unresolved, and it affects both markets this brand is placed against.

A stake cap for new accounts. Until an account reaches VIP status, the document caps slot stakes at €500. VIP status is reached with a single deposit of €250 or more, or total deposits of €3,000 or more in a month.

Your deposit has to be played through. Each deposit must be staked at least once before a withdrawal is possible, and a withdrawal can be refused if the amount staked is lower than the last deposit. Depositing and immediately withdrawing is not a supported flow.

Age verification. We could not confirm any age or identity check at registration. The KVA warning above states there is none.

We check seven things on every casino. “Not found” means we could not locate the tool on any page or in any document available to us on 6 August 2026. It does not mean the tool is definitely absent; each row gets updated once we can test from a registered account.

One dated point sits alongside the table rather than inside it. Two reviewers, on 2 May and 21 July 2026, report asking for their account to be closed and being refused. A self-exclusion clause in a document and a self-exclusion that happens when you ask for it are not the same thing.

KokoBet gives you a large lobby, a sportsbook in the same wallet, and payment options running from Bitcoin to Apple Pay. What it does not give you is the ability to read the rules before you agree to them.

The terms pages return errors instead of text. The detailed bonus conditions sit behind registration. The welcome package is advertised at two different sizes on one screen. No regulator is named and no licence number is published. The one complete rulebook we could locate is a Dutch document from July 2024, on a mirror domain, naming a different company than today’s footer, with a clause barring residents of four of our six markets from registering at all.

The consequence for a player is concrete: if a dispute goes wrong, you cannot point to the term you relied on, because you could not read it, and you cannot escalate to a supervisor, because none is named.

We revisit this rating when any of the following changes: KokoBet publishes a regulator name and licence number we can confirm in that register; the terms, bonus and payment policies return readable text; or the operator starts answering complaints on public review platforms.
