Cookie policy
A cookie is a small file a site asks your browser to keep, so that something can be remembered between page loads or between visits. Some are needed to serve a page at all; the rest are optional, and optional means off until you say otherwise.
What this site sets today: nothing
As at 6 August 2026, Captain Slot sets no cookies. The pages are static files, there is no analytics tag, and no consent platform is installed.
Two things are remembered, and neither is a cookie. Whether you have answered the age question, and whether you have switched casino offers off, are stored by your browser in local storage on your own device. They carry no identifier, they are never sent to a server, and clearing your browser data removes them.

When a platform is installed, each cookie gets its own row: name, who sets it, category, what it does and how long it lasts. That table is filled in from the site as built, not from a vendor's example.
How the consent banner will behave
These are the rules the platform is chosen against, rather than something to check afterwards.
- No script that is not strictly necessary runs before you have agreed to it.
- Accept all and Reject all sit on the first layer, at the same size, the same weight, the same visual prominence and the same number of clicks.
- Nothing is pre-ticked. A pre-ticked box is not consent.
- Refusing does not break the site and does not hide content. There is no cookie wall.
- Withdrawing is as easy as giving: a permanent link in the footer, from every page.
- We do not ask again more often than once every six to twelve months, and closing the banner is not an answer either way.
What that rules out, in the words of the practices it rules out: a highlighted Accept next to a grey Manage preferences, a Reject hidden on the second layer, a banner closed with an × and read as agreement, and the sentence "by continuing to use this site you consent".
Changing or withdrawing your choice
Once the banner exists, a Cookie settings link in the footer will reopen it from any page, and changing your mind will take exactly as many clicks as making it up did. Until then there is no consent to withdraw, because nothing optional is running.
You can also clear or block cookies in your browser directly. Every major browser offers this in its privacy settings, per site and in general.
Cookies set by other people
When you follow a link to an operator, you are on their site, and any cookie set there is theirs under their policy. The same applies to any regulator, help organisation or reference site we link to. We cannot see, control or delete those.
What we get back from an affiliate network is an attribution — that a click came from this site — and no more. The commercial arrangement in full.
